Planning Tool Beta Free to Use E-mail

Learning Curve have been developing a planning tool to support Primary schools planning for the new Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes.

Today the planning tool goes live and to encourage teachers to have a go, it is free to use until Christmas. Just visit www.curriculum-for-excellence.co.uk/ and register.

 
Barnsley and East Lothian Procure Keeping Myself e-Safe E-mail

KMeSBarnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, and East Lothian Council have become the latest LEAs to purchase authority-wide purchases of Keeping Myself e-Safe, This brings the total number of authorities now using the resource to 17.  

Keeping Myself e-Safe has been purchased for use in all 96 Barnsley schools, and all 42 East Lothian schools.  The full list of LEAs with authority-wide site licences is listed below:

Keeping Myself e-Safe School Review E-mail

Dominic Tester, Assistant Head Teacher at Costello Technology College in Basingstoke has been looking at Keeping Myself e-Safe (for secondary schools).

In his conclusion he finds Keeping Myself e-Safe to be a "worthwhile investment for any school" and he "would recommend this resource to all schools, whether they are looking at creating an online E-Safety course or developing it within the PSHE/Citizenship curriculum."

Orkney Islands purchase Keeping Myself e-Safe E-mail

Orkney Islands Council has become the latest LEA to purchase Keeping Myself e-Safe.  The resource will now be used in all 23 of Orkney’s primary and schools.  This brings to 15 the number of LEAs who have an authority-wide site licence of Keeping Myself e-Safe.  The others are:

  • Herefordshire
  • Sandwell
  • Shropshire
  • Solihull
  • Staffordshire
