A high quality interactive web-based resource to support the learning and teaching of Scottish history.

Pupils can be transported backwards in time to one of 5 eras in Scottish History.

• The Romans - Ancient World
• Wallace and Bruce - Middle Ages
• Mary Queen of Scots – Renaissance, Reformation & Exploration
• The Jacobites – Age of Revolutions
• World War II – The 20th Century

When pupils arrive at their destination their quest takes the form of a journey through a virtual maze (The History Maze). The maze will be presented in a three-dimensional view. Pupils will begin at the entrance of the maze and their task is to find their way to the exit. As they move through the maze they may meet characters, encounter historical scenes and be required to complete puzzles and short quizzes. Pupils will need to apply their knowledge and understanding of history if they are to progress through the maze.
